Thanksgiving Reheating Instructions
**Please keep in mind that all ovens, stove tops, and microwaves are different, and turkeys vary in size, heating times will vary. Please pay close attention to your turkey and side temperatures during the reheating process. Use a reliable thermometer for optimal results.
TURKEY
As soon as you get to a suitable storage site, place the whole turkey container in refrigerated space.
Approximately 3 to 4 hours prior to desired serving time, remove the whole turkey from refrigeration, cover with tin foil & let sit at room temperature for least 1 hour.
Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.
Once the oven has reached 350 degrees, place the covered turkey the oven and heat for approximately 1 hour.
REMOVE FOIL and check internal temperature. Continue to heat turkey checking it's temperature every 30 minutes. Heat until thickest part of the breast reaches 165 degrees. This could take several hours depending on your oven.
Remove the turkey from the oven and let rest for 15 minutes uncovered.
Carve, serve, and enjoy!
SIDES
Heat all sides to 160 degrees. Use either of the following methods:
Stove top- Place in saucepan on LOW heat, stirring occasionally until hot.- suggested for gravy.
Oven- Place in oven safe dish into 350 degree oven for approximately 45 minutes, check temperature…continue to heat until 160 degrees. -suggested for all other sides
*cover mac-n-cheese with breadcrumbs prior to heating in oven
Microwave - Place in a microwave safe container (provided), cover with damp paper towel, heat two minutes, stir and check temperature… repeat until hot.
